How do you Join? | Quick Process
Joining the IWC is very simple. All you need is:
1. Our IWC Membership Registration form (download here)
2. 30AZN (yearly fee)
Submit the completed registration form and the one-time annual membership fee to our Membership Officer (Nilgun Kocal) at any of our weekly Friday morning coffees, or at our monthly lunches, and she will be happy to fill out a Membership card for you, after which you will be added to our mailing list. Keep your card with you, as you will need it when you attend club events as proof of club membership.
What does Membership give you? | Benefits
Becoming a member of the IWC gives you the opportunity to meet an excitingly diverse range of women from around the world. Whether you're new to Baku, and especially if you've been here for some time, you'll find that one of the most important aspects of living away from your home country is making new friends, who, just like you, share in the unique experience of living in Azerbaijan.
Looking for an ingredient to make that special recipe you made at home? Trying to find a new restaurant in the city? Looking for advice on the route you should take for an out-of-the-city adventure with your family? You'll find that the relationships you form in the IWC will be invaluable resource to you. There will always be someone with a shared interest, a similar background or experience, or at least a funny story to tell, that, if nothing else, will teach what you shouldn't do the next time you find yourself in that situation!
For those who are also charitably inclined, being a member of the IWC allows you to be a part of the many community projects and charitable ventures in which the club engages throughout the year. The IWC has formed strong linkages over the years with orphanages, homes, and like-minded organizations. This allows the club to extend the scope of its projects to more than just one point of focus, while maintaining a structured, visible approach to all of its members.
As a member of the club, you will have the opportunity to be as involved as you like in these initatives. Whether you like working in the background, or you prefer a more hands-on approach, you'll find that there's always some way in which you can volunteer your time, energy, and talent(s) to make a positive difference.
We're always looking for volunteers! For more information on our projects for this year, please click here.
