Our Work at the Orphanages

Over the past 15 years the IWC has done extensive work in Azerbaijan’s orphanages. A few of our projects have included: renovations of toilets, shower rooms, sleeping rooms, kitchens, schoolrooms, laundries and administrative offices. We have installed playground equipment, washing machines, even an elevator in one home so the children in wheel chairs could take meals with the rest of the group and get a chance to go outside to play.

We have ensured that the basic necessities of life are available by replacing water, heating, electrical and sewer systems. Whenever there is a problem such as a roof collapse, burst pipe or shortage of beds, our club has been able to do what is needed. If you are interested in visiting the children in any of the orphanages we support, please let us know. We will arrange it for you. Children love to have visitors and you can make their day a happy one.
