The International Women’s Club of Baku was founded in 1994. Over the past 15 years the club has expanded and its mission has changed. Our goals are to foster friendship and mutual understanding among women from all over the world and support charitable work in Azerbaijan.
Today we number over 100 members of different nationalities. Our focus is gradually shifting from humanitarian assistance to livelihood training and development of people.
We are both a charitable and social organization. Our activities include visits to orphanages, cooking and language classes, field trips to historic sites, fundraising events and much more.
